The Congregation Mission Statement

We are a family of Christians, drawn together by a common mission:
"To build and nurture an active Christian community; to support the mission of the Cathedral; to offer opportunities for exploring and expressing spirituality, affirming the diversities that exist among us; above all, through worship, service, and example, to bear witness to Christ's healing and reconciling love to neighbors, pilgrims, and visitors."

The Mission and Outreach Committee

The Mission and Outreach Committee purpose statement:

We undertake to provide opportunities where we can live out our faith in action through hands-on assistance, advocacy, and gifts of financial support.

The Mission and Outreach Committee is Co-Chaired by Diane Reiners and Harry Johnson.  Meetings are held the first Sunday of every month in room 118 of Cathedral House from 10:00 am – 11:00 am and are open to all.  Please email Diane Reiners  for more information.

The Mission and Outreach Committee also provides advocacy information for individuals, and an opportunity to organize as a larger group. We support Fair Trade, Global Peace and Reconciliation, an end to Poverty as well as other human rights actions outlined by the Episcopal church. Please contact us if you have information you would like to distribute.

Please visit the Volunteer page for opportunities to serve the community.
