Join Jorge Juan Rodríguez V, a Ph.D. candidate in Modern Religious History at Union Theological Seminary and son of Puerto Rican migrants, for a talk on colonialism and Protestant missionary movements in Puerto Rico. In this presentation, he will explore the colonial encounter between the United States and Puerto Rico, the role of Protestant missionaries in that process, and assess how it still affects Puerto Rican realities today.
