Invitation from the Wardens...

Dear Members and Friends of the Congregation of Saint Saviour

Enjoy a traditional Shrove Tuesday pancake supper with us this Tuesday evening at 6:00 p.m. in Cathedral House! There will be pancakes, including a gluten free version, toppings and sides. This seems to be the way Episcopalians let it all hang out before Lent, so do come and join us.

Lent, of course, begins this Wednesday with Ash Wednesday services at the Cathedral. This is the time of year when we look inward as we prepare for the awesome days of Holy Week and the celebration of the Resurrection of our Lord. We are delighted that the Cathedral and its congregation are offering more opportunities for observing Lent together than in many years. There are programs that will take place during the day for those who work from home or can simply slip away from daily commitments. There are programs in the evening as well.

I encourage you to read the list carefully and consider which you might be helpful to your Lenten Observance.
