Holiday Cards for SAGE and Amsterdam House

Every year as part of its Christmas outreach, Divine Fellowship hosts a party at Cathedral House. Members of St. Saviour and the larger Cathedral community decorate and address holiday cards for vulnerable, often isolated, LGTBQ+ individuals associated with SAGE, an advocacy group for the elderly, and with the Ali FornEy Center, one of the nations largest homeless shelters for LGBTQ+ youth.

This year, St. Saviour decided to continue this holiday tradition. Members from YESS (Young Episcopalians of Saint Saviour), OPUS (Older People Up to Something), Divine Fellowship, Vicar Steve Lee, and other kind individuals decorated nearly 250 greeting cards, including about 75 for Amsterdam House, a senior center on 112th Street.

Even though we could not gather together, the Spirit of sharing remains!
